Yes, batteries are an issue with watches.  I have a 
braille/talking watch
that stopped working with in 5 days of getting it.  They would 
not take it
back because it was the  3rd replacement in less then 2 months.  
If anyone
knows how to get to the battery on this watch that would be great 
news.

Just curious.  How do you replace the battery in one of these 
watches?  I
have a drawer full of dead talking watches whose batteries are 
not easily
replaceable by the user.  And because they are so cheap, a 
jewelry or watch
repair place won't touch them.

 a rip-off.  I purchased a talking atomic clock a few years ago,

 could never get it to set itself automatically.  Maybe if you

 where the signal originates you might get your watch to set

 to the correct time.  But I think it's strictly hit or miss.  I
