If you can use gas, I actually found a range with the old knobs and
burners at Sears. I found it quite by accident while the salesperson
was showing my wife one of the high tech models.

Subject: [Electronics-talk] cooking stove

Hi folks I just moved into a house and I need to get my own stove.
I've never bought one before.
The one that was here is one of the flat top ones, I know that some
blind people use them, but I tryed, plus for the oven is a touch screen
and there is no way to label it.
So I'm asking for opinions on what to buy.
I like cooking with gas, but I can use eather.
I don't have any usable vision, but am good at figuring things out.
I don't need anything real top of the line, just something basic.
So what have you folks found that works best for blind people?
thanks
