[Electronics-talk] Cell Phone Question

The nexus seems to have some access features, but it is a work in progress.

The iPhone is accessible, but there is a bit of a learning curve. I bought
an iPod Touch to try out the Voiceover interface, which is the same as that
on the iPhone. I find it useable. In fact, it can be helpful to operate a
computer interface with one hand. However, I'm not sure I could operate it
efficiently on the move as I do with my Nokia phone.

If you're game for the touch screen experience, it looks like the iPhone is
the way to go for the time being. Also be aware that Apple is going to
announce a new product next week which is expected to involve phone features
on a more elaborate and larger touch screen device.

If I lived in an area that had a decent AT&T data network, I would have
already signed up for the iPhone.

There is reportedly information on accessibility of Android in the Google
blogs and on Youtube. A search will probably get you there.

Good luck.

Subject: [Electronics-talk] Cell Phone Question

I am about to purchase a new cell phone, and I am probably going to buy
either a Nexus One or an IPhone. I know that the IPhone is pretty
accessible. Does anyone have info about how accessible the Nexus One is? I
would especially be interested in hearing from people who have purchased the
Nexus One.

Thanks so much.
