hi,

to the lady looking to use rechargeable batteries as we have forgot to hold down the slide until hearing the tone on the olympus ds recorders and waste batteries:

i decided against an usb powered charger and went with the ac wall powered:
Rosewill RGD-CT505 Battery Charger for AAA/AA Alkaline and Ni-MH Batteries(battery not included) 

they are $15 today on amazon instead of $40.
