Hi, Annette:
Here's an opportunity for you to turn the table on the sighted.  You can 
teach your family how to read braille now.  Don't we blind have to 
acquiesce?  Just kidding.
 Just remember, If you have to invent a wheel, be sure to share it with 
others in case they should purchase the same appliance.  Hopefully Whirlpool 
will get their act together.
