I think Voiceover is saying "dim" which I interpret as "dimmed" (d i m m e
d), or greyed out. Once you are in the message, look for delete and it
should be a button upon which you can double tap.

Let me ask you a question
I am still getting used to mine
When I am going through the voicemail for example
It will have a delete dip button, what does it mean when it has a dip
button?
I have tryed to double tap on them, but as far as I can tell they do nothing
