[Electronics-talk] descriptive tv

Hi all,

I know the tv companies are supposed to provide more descriptive service.
I have cox cable here. How do I find out what is described? Also, are you able to turn it on independently, or i s it a menu?

I have some vision but may not be able to read the menus due to the print and size and nystagmus.

Also is it possible to download described tv shows? I know you can get them on-demand with sighted help to run the menu. But I’m wondering if we can watch a past show online or via tv with the description. I want to see shows such as Cops, Modern Family and the Office described. I was hoping I might also find old tv shows described too such as Full House, Golden Girls and Fresh Prince.
