[Electronics-talk] descriptive tv

Am glad that someone else had the same results with Comcast that I did. I don't have anything open on a complaint but I can and do concur that Comcast has no idea with the description is. Please keep us posted if you hear anything from Comcast. Maybe if more of us would call our cable companies, this situation would get resolved. I don't think Comcast is alone here.

  This is an interesting topic.
in the past, prior to the conversion to digital TV ... Descriptive audit
was available on the SAP (secondary audio program) option on your TV.

Since going to Digital, many Cable companies have kind of made this dis
  appear.

I have a formal complaint in to the FCC that Comcast is not providing
Discriptive audito when it is available by the local TV stations.

the Comcast service and Help desk have no idea what discriptive audio is.
they tried to point at the TV manufacturer, then the TB station... so i
asked, IF the signal were availabler, how would i receive it via Comcast...
no one knew how... thus i have to conclude that it does not exist.

Due to my complaint to the FCC, i have an open issue with Comcast support
and they promised to get back to me.... but i am not holding much hope.

ON this topic, i would just love for someone to prove me wrong...
just tell me how to receive Discriptive audio using Comcast equipment.
