cost depends on the nature of the repare. If it is just a cord, that is perfectly doable yourself. If you are not comfortable with this check out a small appliance repare shop. they are usuallly pretty reasonable. I had a door switch go on a microwave, and was charged $40 for the repare. microwave lasted ten more years.
