hi,

if you complain several times about poor service like on verizon, even sitting at home and have zero signal strength.
i finally have a note on my account and they let me out of the contract.

  I would think you have to wait until the contract expires or pay the cost of breaking the contract to get a new phone. You may contact AT&T and see if they would be willing to make a deal. Steve
