[Electronics-talk] Cable/setup boxes

I don't know how much it'll scare the cable companies, but I for one
appreciate those who worked hard to get this bill passed, and I think
filing complaints now and in the future will make a difference. Surely
it'll make more of a difference than doing nothing but complaining how
hopeless it all is. Maybe your contribution could be to stop trying to
convince others how pointless it is to try to change anything. I also
don't think that either presidential candidate will disembowel the FCC
to the point that it'll be ineffective in this case, although I'll be
curious to read any statements either candidate has made on crippling
the FCC, if you have any pointers to such statements. Besides, given how
hopeless you think it is, I'm surprised you think whoever wins the
presidential race can make things even worse.
