I recently bought an ipod Touch.  It is running IOS 7.4, the latest version.
Every couple days, it gets into a mode where it executes anything I touch. 
I'm running my finger over the screen, looking for what I want to 
double-tap, and the silly thing goes dashing off to open something I've just 
touched in passing.  It's very annoying.
How can I stop this from happening, or make it stop when it does?
