I don't happen to be on a list myself where I think this would be on 
topic, so I'd go to something like http://nfbnet.org/mailman/listinfo 
which lists all of the mailing lists hosted by the server which hosts 
this list. It looks to me like the list blindtlk 	Blind Talk Mailing 
List at http://nfbnet.org/mailman/listinfo/blindtlk_nfbnet.org would be 
appropriate. It says the following about what the list is about:

The purpose of Blind Talk is for the Discussion of
general topics of interest to blind and visually impaired
persons, our friends and relatives and anyone else who is

blindness, training centers, etc. Blind Talk is intended to

microwaves, washers, dryers, stoves, and the like; is appropriate and 
encouraged. With more and more devices having inaccessible controls or

I try to pay attention to such information when I join and post to a 
list, so I may not always know of an appropriate list for every possible 
question, but I am at least somewhat familiar with what is and isn't on 
topic for the lists I am on.
