Here's the site for the VIP Talking Thermostats.

I highly recommend them. You will need to determine the model you need based on what type of heating/cooling system you have. If you are not sure, give them a call or consult your HVAC professional.
I had a VIP 1000 installed in 2006 when I had an oil furnace and AC unit. In 2011 I replaced the oil furnace and installed a heat pump unit. The VIP 1000 did not support the heat pump, and I switched to the VIP 2000.
I still have the VIP 1000 which is five years old and in good working condition. If it is the model you need, I will sell it for $50. It is $150 new.
Good luck.

>I remember seeing somewhere, once upon a time, a talking thermostat that would replace your existing central heat/air thermostat controller. Does anyone know where I might find this ? or if it is not available , what is your experience with a good indoor/outdoor thermostat? Thank you for your help.
