[Electronics-talk] The digital radio TV from Oehm

In his description of the size and layout of the radio, he mentioned that
there's a monaural earplug on the front, and there are 2 RCA jacks on the
back, [left and right], so that a pair of stereo speakers can be attached.
I think he said that the antenna is a detachable whip. That's typical these
days. At least as far as I've seen on other radios and stereos.
The radio picks up channels 2 through 69.
There is a button that one presses to find out the strength of the digital
signal you are getting. The lower the pitch, the farther you are from the
repeater for the television signal. Higher means closer and better.
I'm not sure about this, but he mentioned not being able to have the unit
receive higher channels on the, bandwidth spectrum, because that would
involve him obtaining licensing. And that would cause the price to
increase. Which by the way, it has already increase since I first heard
about this thing. It was $175. It has now jumped $10. This was as of
August 27, 2012.
