[Electronics-talk] Heard a lot of griping, but what is good about the upgrade

I'm not sure what griping you're talking about. I'm on several lists
where people have talked about features that they had hoped would have
made it into IOS 7, but I don't consider this griping, but rather just a
good discussion about how something so good could become even better. In
fact, given the hype about IOS 7 coming from Apple prior to the WWDC,
I'm surprised there hasn't been even more negative press about how IOS 7
hasn't lived up to the high expectations set for it.

IOS 7 hasn't been released yet and won't be for months, so there is no
opportunity to download it and give it a try. All we can talk about is
what Apple announced was going to be in IOS 7 and the few demos it gave
at the WWDC keynote.

I haven't kept up with the different lists of new features in IOS 7, but
you can definitely find this information all over the web. A few things
I can remember off of the top of my head is:

* Some new voices for SIRI. No one is sure if they'll also work for
VoiceOver or not.

* A Control Center where you can easily get to and change different IOS
settings.

* I think I heard you can now have folders inside of folders but don't
quote me on this.

* A new Safari.

* Multi threading for all applications and not just Apple applications.

and tons more. Like I said, this is just off the top of my head, but you
can find different lists all over the web with a Google search.
