[Electronics-talk] MacBook Pro and scanners

anyone using the Canoscan LIDE or DS Mobile with a MacBook Pro?  Do I need to buy additional software in order to use these scanners.

what about an all in one fax/scanner/printer?  Which one?

I will be using VoiceOver with it.

I will be doing light scanning which is why I like the idea of the portable scanners.  However, from time to time I have to use a fax machine and printer.

Your thoughts are appreciated.
