[Electronics-talk] fax machine

Lauren and all-

I would look into a fax service that you can do and manage from your
computer.

Getting a fax machine may not answer your problem, but having a portable
scanner hooked up to your pc will allow you to scan something that needs to
be faxed, and with the program that you can utilize from your machine you
can fax away.
YOU with a fax machine would need a phone line, you can utilize your current
landline but those who don't have a dedicated analog phone line not digital
coming directly in to your home.

Who ever provides your phone line now you can ask about getting a second
line coming in to your house.

But think of this, cost per month of a second line itself, plus a fax
machine, might over all be more expensive then a per month charge for a fax
service.

Subject: [Electronics-talk] fax machine

Hi,
I am thinking about getting a fax machine. I've had to take a cab to a
business that does faxes, per cost. I am wondering what kind of fax machine
would be the best to get. How would I know which side of the paper has
print on it? How would I know if the fax was sent correctly? How do you
get a fax number? Do you hook it up to your existing landline phone or do
you have to get another phone or another phone line?
Thanks
Lauren
