[Electronics-talk] accessible phone for verizon

If I go to the Verizon store and pick out a phone that looks good to me, is
there any way to know if it will be able to talk? Will I have to buy Mobile
Speak, or whatever? I remember hearing Verizon provided some talking
program free with the phone. I'd also ask if the Verizon guys will have a
clue about accessibility, but I'd already bet the answer is a resounding No.

The C5 will not work on Verizon because it is a GSM based phone and Verizon
uses CDMA which means no sim card, at least on their network.

You could also buy a Nokia C5 which is completely accessible and is
used by many Indians out here.
Among Touch Screen competitors, IPhones are most accessible.
