You create a station by specifying a genre, artist or song and then 
similar music is streamed to you. You can tell iTunes Radio to play more 
songs like whatever song you're listening to or never play a particular 
song again. You can purchase any song you're listening to. As Jenny 
says, it's a lot like Pandora.

There's no time limit on listening to iTunes Radio for free. Purchasing 
iTunes Match allows you to store your music in the cloud and eliminates 
commercials on iTunes Radio.

You access it through iTunes on your PC, and you just use your Apple ID. 
You can also get to it from your iDevice, Mac or Apple TV.
