[Electronics-talk] Comparing GPS's

I guess I am missing something here. I thought Blind Square was an ap that
shows you points of interest around you but needs another GPS ap to plan a
route with such as Navigon or Seeing Eye. I also deleted Aerognie GPS
because I couldn't get it to work.

Hi Steve,

I couldn't figure out ariadni GPS so I deleted it. Blind Square and Sendero
are here to stay in my phone since both are very simple to use! I
recommend both apps highly! You are right! One doesn't need a smorgasbord
of GPS apps in order to get the most out of either app. I do tie in 4
square with blind square. Instructions for doing this is in the blind
square app and this can be done within blind square. One will have more POI
info this way when using blind square! I like using the internal voice while
locking the screen! Not as much battery is used. The Seeing Eye Gps
recognizes Osco Drug that Blind Square internal voice doesn't say. This is
in a grocery store where I shop! I haven't used blind square with
voiceover. Perhaps results might be different.

apps to do. Do you feel that is a fair assessment? I have Blind Square and
Ariadni and they both seem to do different things pretty well.
