I have not played with the app, nor am I under NDA, so take this with a grain of salt.
However, I think the app will likely run on any ios7 device. So, the question will be of the camera and flash of the iPod will generate acceptable pictures.
We'll need to wait and see.

Not certain that I will be purchasing it, given that I am using an iPod rather than an iPhone, but more info never hurts the consumer, right:)!

When the initial app may be installed on any devices running iOS 7 and above. Although it will be possible to install the KNFB Reader app on an iPod touch, the results may vary due to the lack of a flash for the camera. With this being said, you may be able to get functional results in a well-lit environment. If you require additional explanation, please feel free to give me a call at the number below.

Is there any possibility at all that it will work on an iPod Touch and if not, may I get a better understanding of why this is the case? mainly, the reason I am confused as to why it will not work with the iPod Touch 5 is that I have been told that the iPod Touch 5 is essentially the iPhone 5 minus the GPS unit and direct data plan.
