I confess I don't see why blind folks have a hard time with flat-tops. With
a bit of practice, one can tell where the burners are.

That sounds like the one we bought for my mother's house.  My 
ex-sister-in-law wanted to buy a flat top and I vetoed it.  Pam.

We recently had to buy a new stove/oven.  With a lot of phone calls, we
located a very accessible model, GE model jb450dfww.  It has dials, nothing
digital.  It has coil burners, not the new, flat kind. In short, it's a
plain, old-fashioned electric stove.  We bought it at PC Richards, but I
expect it's available at any place that carries GE.
