[Electronics-talk] Animal Locator

So I thought, Annette; wouldn't take but a few seconds; it takes a lot
longer than that to find him when he is asleep or chooses not to come when
called.
I hope my friend finds one at the other CVS.

Darla,

You can easily walk to the doorway of each room and press the button to see
which room he is in.

Hi Annette,

Two CVS stores I checked didn't have them; my friend is going to be
near another one, and she will check for me.
Very salient point; it might drive him bonkers, but I'm not always
in the same room with him when I'd like to know where his Highness is.
<grin>

My understanding is that they still have ones that require you to clap your
hands or whistle. These both are easily set off by other noises in the
environment. An advantage to these are that if you clap or whistle loud
enough it will set off the locator even if you are not in the same room as
the locator. The button activated one does require you to be in the same
room.

That appears to be a different kind of keyfinder than the ones I was
referring to, because the old ones I knew about didn't have multiple pieces.

They just responded to sound. They weren't a transmitter/receiver. Pam.
