[Electronics-talk] cable access

I think the best decision I made when I moved was to ditch the cable!
Prior to moving, I canceled my cable with Time-Warner in 2011. For over a month, the actual line worked when I plugged it in directly to the TV without a cable-box. I was able to watch the local programing as if I had an antenna without the reception problems. This option could work if you want something without a cable box.
Another option could be to ditch the cable and the noise polution-box with the eye candy supplement (that's what I call TV), and use the more friendly accessable medium known as the internet.
Have a good day.
