[Electronics-talk] Sleep timer for the BARD app for the Iphone

It's in the clock app on your iPhone. I'm not sure where this is
anymore, since I'm sure I've moved it into another folder on my phone.
You can also get to it through the Control Center. You can bring up the
Control Center by touching anything in the status bar and then doing a
three finger flick up.
Use the tabs on the bottom of the Clock app to go to the timer. To have
your book stop playing after the timer ends, double tap on the when
timer ends control and select stop playing from the bottom of the list
on the resulting dialog.
If you have any questions on this please ask. I am not sure how familiar
you are with your iPhone and things like the Control Center or the Clock
app.
Of course lists are for asking questions, sometimes the right answer
though is a pointer to the documentation or a place on where to go to
get more information. I think questions should be answered when asked,
but including a pointer on where to go to get more information is also
appropriate. The BARD Mobile app's documentation has a lot of good
information in it, and is a good resource for anyone using the BARD
Mobile app. If anyone using the BARD Mobile app doesn't know about it
then I don't think there's anything wrong with pointing this out.
Writing the above message took some time for me, and I had to go to my
iPhone to double check the information to make sure I got it right. When
I saw this question a few days ago, I didn't have the time to answer it
then, so I just deleted it and assumed someone else would answer it.
Would you rather have someone point out to you where you could go to get
help or just not get any answer at all?
I'm afraid lists are not good resources for quick urgent answers. You're
assuming the person who knows the answer will see your question and have
the time to respond right away. People on these lists aren't typically
paid support employees.
