While Dave is right that TWC and Comcast are unlikely to merge it is no secret that Time-Warner is looking for a buyer as they seem to be fearful of a hostile takeover.
    All I know for sure if that some change at TWC might indeed be welcome as I'm just getting basic and the lineup is lousy enough now, and on top of that they've just raised our rates $10 last week but they have all these promos that we wish we could afford but alas, gotta pay the heating bill, and the car broke down last week, and Happy New Year.
    Sorry, just a good place to vent on this cold evening.  But at least we're above zero.
