Hi all,

There are many options available for one's screen access needs! It is all up to you of course but I'm trying a program called Dolphin Guide which allows a person to try it for up to thirty days before purchasing! I'm managing my Gmail Account with this program much better! I otherwise use System Access which allows me to access my Email from my phone or PC. Either option is around $800! System Access has free lifetime upgrades. I'm not certain of the update policy with guide!

When I purchased my new Windows 8.1 PC, from Amazon.com, I received it on Saturday morning! I was listening to the NFB Convention online at the time. When the morning break occurred around ten AM my time, I took my new computer out of its shipping carton, got Narrator going once it was plugged in, went through some Windows setup and installed my System Access Software! I was downloading Email 40 minutes after taking the computer out of the box! I'm still learning about Windows 8.1 but I'm not having any difficulty with it presently!

A complete computer crash isn't as traumatic as it otherwise would be since my Email is online with Serotek or Gmail. It no longer matters much to me whether I use a laptop or my IOS devices for mail! I've used laptops for over 10 years now and had only one crash on me thus far! My wife had two laptops go out on her! One crashed and the other the keyboard became defective! I especially enjoy taking my laptop anywhere in the house and using it on the Wi Fi. I'm beginning to think one has the best of all worlds if one uses Dolphin Guide with an online account. One can keep mail in their PC and access it online as well. The jury is still out with my evaluation of Dolphin Guide!

I'm not saying what I do is better than what you are doing with your PC. I'm merely saying one has many options for dealing with mail, social networks etc.

For what it is worth!
