[Electronics-talk] Best JAWS Version for Windows 8

Hi Everyone,
I agree that having multiple screen readers can be quite helpful. I have
found that when JAWS can not do the job, NVDA can work quite well and in a
pinch, when JAWS freezes up, Narrator can at least help me get unstuck:). I
also really like Voiceover for devices! Hmm, I am seeing a purchasing
preference trend for myself of FREE:) in my non-JAWS screen readers:)!

One quick question, Jim, you mentioned being able to immediately and
sounds like completely without sighted assistance set up your new computer
upon receiving it with your screen readers. I know how to install JAWS on
OS that I am familiar with, but have never worked with Windows 8. Thus,
could you tell me how to get to where I can find the JAWS set up once the
laptop is up and running. In other words, once Windows 8 comes up, how do I
navigate to where I can start up my JAWS CD so I can begin the install.
Happy Thursday!
Chris
