Hi,

I have used one of these. In general, the months are in two columns along
the left side. The day numbers are grouped in the bottom right side and
take up about 40% of the surface of the device. Strangely, they don't have
them numbered in rows of 7; they are in 8's. In the top middle is a circle
of buttons to get reminders for today and the next 7 days. There are some
other buttons to record, set yearly reminders, set date and time, etc. The
buttons are all flat, so bump dots or Braille labels would be super handy.
There is a little bit of a learning curve, but overall, once you get things
labelled, it works great.

Hope this helps.

June is Cataract Awareness month. A cataract is the clouding of the lens in
the eye that affects vision. To help prevent cataracts, the South Carolina
Commission for the Blind encourages you to wear sunglasses and a hat with a
wide brim, stop smoking and practice good nutrition which includes eating
green, leafy vegetables. For more information about how the SC Commission
for the Blind can help you or a loved one, please visit us at
