Several of us are independently using NetFlix.  The nicest eyes free experience is using the apple TV.  If that isn't an option, you can use a windows screen reader and web browser to access netflix, but you won't have full control over the playback experience.

P.S. May I suggest that you take a look at a TV show on Netflix called "The West Wing"? In my opinion, it blows the doors off of either the Brittish or American House of Cards.
