[Electronics-talk] turning on separate audio programming in UVERSE

Hi,

I am excited to try Ray's recipe. I hope it works, this will be really
great.

I am equally bemused about tech support on descriptive audio. Programmers
spend considerable money to describe these programs and then don't make easy
ways (or even difficult) ways for blind people to independently use these
services.

Warmest Regards,

Fred

Hi Fred,

Thanks for your note.

I've even called AT&T customer service, but didn't have any luck there
either.
It's interesting that the technical support page on the My AT&T app
describes how to turn on closed captioning, but not the SAP feature.

Best

Liz

Hi Liz,

I sure hope there is an answer, here. I cannot figure out a way to use SAP
with Uverse. Uverse and the Uverse app are pretty good, except for the
gaping problem of audio description.

Warmest Regards,

Fred

Hello everyone,

Sorry if I'm asking a repeat question, but I seem to recall that there was a
discussion on this list about turning on the SAP feature using the AT&T
UVERSE remote.

Unfortunately, I don't think this can be done via the iPhone app,and I also
don't think SAP is available when recording a show on the DVR.

I recently switched to UVERSE,and am pretty happy with the Internet and tv
services, but it would be nice to use SAP when I see that it's available.

Thanks in advance.

Liz
