[Electronics-talk] [EXTERNAL] adjusting camera exposure on iphone

The light probe can tell the direction the light is coming from. If I point
it at the window and it goes crazy, I figure it's sunny out there. If I
point it at the ceiling and wave it around and it goes crazy, I figure the
lightbulb is on.

Can these apps tell the difference between sunlight and light bulb light?
My new baby needs it dark to sleep (obviously) and we have weird switches in
our house, up doesn't always mean that the light is on. It's weird and I
haven't figured out the patern. I suspect that the lights are linked
somehow.
The light probe sounds like it'd be useful.

I seem to recall an app called light Detector. Try launching the App Store
and searching on that phrase

I need a way to test light levels and just how bright lights are and I would
like to use my Iphone. Is this possible using voiceover? If so how? If I
need an app can you recommend one? If I can't do this with an iphone can
anyone recommend anything I can try?
