[Electronics-talk] Scanner for computer

Hi we got a cannon Pixma scanner today and I'm able to get it to wrk 
with windows 7 and my wife Tina cannot get the drivers to install on 
her windows 8 machine. We even had someone sighted come over and try to 
help us with the printer and no luck eithre.

We got it from Walmart and of course none of the people who are working 
in electronics knows anything about computers or scanners.

Tina's looking for a stand alone scanner that wil work with Windows 8 
and doesn't need drivers to run the scanner.
The litta scanner is nice becuase it didn't require any driverts at 
all. It was a plug and play and it would take off no matter what 
opperating system you were running and non of this nonsence of drivers!

OIf anyone knows of any type of scanner then please let us know.
