[Electronics-talk] Problem With Email on iPhone

Good morning,

 

My iPhone 5 has suddently stopped downloading email for no apparent reason.
The error message says the server is not responding. I’ve reviewed email
settings several times and am unable to ID the source of this malfunction.
The only logical inference I can surmise is some of the settings were
mysteriously changed, but which ones? My wife still gets email on her iPhone
so I can rule out server interruption. I’ve tried comparing settings as this
would be the next logical troubleshooting step, but some of the settings are
unavailable such as IMAP and SMTP settings, so that was of no help either.
We have SBC (now AT&T) Yahoo DSL and the phones are running iOS 7.1.2. TIA
for any possible solutions.
