[Electronics-talk] Tuning an instrument

I play the harp, and I use the Talking Tuner app to tune it.  I notice 
sighted players sometimes tape a lead to their instrument to help with the 
tuner picking up the sound.  Could I do that, and use Talking Tuner?  Would 
it then be possible to tune in a room with other people tuning?  Right now, 
I feel like I can only tune in a quiet place away from other players, and 
it's not always convenient.
