Vince,
I had mentioned having sighted help so you don't put a label over the
magnetic strip only because I had also mentioned gift cards which often
don't have any tacktile markings to note which side is front and which is
the back. I only label my cards with the name of the specific card as I put
all the other info on my note taker that I can refer to when making an on
line purchase. When I am at a store I do not need the extra info.

Why not place the dyno tape above the number on the front of the card, Drew?
The backs of most cards contain the signature strip, the magnetic strip and
a phone number to call in case you lose or damage the card.
The 7-digits that appear are the last 4 of the account, and the last 3 is
the security code.
