It is such a niche item that no general mainstream electronics store
would bother to carry it.

Actually, you can buy the radios directly from Sparc.  However, you will
get 
a better deal from Amazon.

Reminds me to ask.  Let's say I got the small pportable with
accessibility, 
which is the Sparc HDSXT-2 can the clock be set by using the voice
prompts? 
Also, since the accessibility is turned off by default, how do you turn
it 
on without being able to see it?
