[Electronics-talk] for keurig coffee brewer owners, the keurig 2.0

Hello Tom, yeh they are quite spendy when replacing them annually. For
anyone who doesn't know, you can buy a small K style cup that is refillable.
This way you can buy a big can of foldures or whatever and just make your
own K style cup every day with your own coffee grounds. I had one around for
about a year and it got a lot of use.

Papa bear,
We have less then great water. I bought mine from costco when they first
came out, then another as a gift. Both are going strong. I am niot a
convenuance or luxury guy, yet totally like it. Sorry that yours did not
live long. They are expensive

Hello Brent, I got one in July from Wal-Mart. To my frustration I generally
have to pick a new one up once a year. It may be from the hard water we have
in our well, but they get beat up pretty quick. I am fine with the old
school brewer pots, but my wife just adores the K cup convenience. I imagine
that in the next year or two that most will be touch screen only if not all.

Do they even make the regular non-touch screen brewers any more? I think the
K-cups I use are possibly an off-brand that aren't approved with the
protection thing the new ones have. It depends if Coffee People is one that
is approved.
