[Electronics-Talk] caller ID box

I believe this unit is fine; just a caution that Amazon also sells a very cheap unit (under $10) which more often that not, simply says "Florida call" or other useless phrases, and will not speak the number.  I tried to return it and the company wanted almost the entire purchase price as a return shipping fee.

I've been told the Emerson could always be made to speak the number in case it said something like this, but the really cheap unit could not be made to speak the number, and had no call log.
