Hi, Evelyn.  No, I have a Bosch - probably very similar and extremely 
quiet.  In fact, that's why I bought the Bosch - it's about 45-47dB.  It 
also has a top rack for long utensils.  I like it a lot.  Well, I 
better, since it cost about $1,200.--Matthew Chao
