Hi George,

If you have the Sparc portable radio, the Tx2, look for two long buttons.  The top long button turns the radio on and off as well as changing AM to FM or the other way around!  The smaller up down buttons can be felt before encountering  the lower long button.  The round speaker should be on the left face of the radio.  Press the lower long button, don't hold it down. Tune your radio in the usual way.  You should hear each frequency spoken. If you still don't hear frequencies, tap lower long button and tune till you hear frequencies spoken! This toggles on and off!
