Alas, no go.  :.  I did as you suggested, and still no go.

On the AM side, however, where I suspect an HD channel should be, I do get some heterodyne for about one or two seconds, and then it stops, leaving the channel in it’s place, but no indication of what the frequency is supposed to be.

A couple of other questions, if I may.

1.  What is the short bar supposed to do if held for a longer period of time than just a tap?

And the diamond of four indented buttons to the left of the two tiny dots,  just what are they for?
