I know that Cox is now providing Voice Guidance. This fact I found on their web site. As for Comcast voice guidance reading notifications and such now, we are in the next beta cycle of Vg so I cannot comment on that. Who ever leaked that out was not supposed to.

Sent from my Mac, The only computer with full accessibility for the blind built-in

Sincerely, The Constantly Barefooted Ray
Still a very happy Mac, Verizon Wireless iPhone6+ and Apple TV user!!!!!

It looks like Comcast is the only company with a talking TV interface. Has anyone heard from any of the other cable companies about their plans to make their boxes accessible? I’m surprised that we didn’t hear anything at Convention. On another note, I read on another list that Comcast improved Voice Guidance so that it will now read notifications, such as incoming phone calls and voicemails. Has anyone noticed this? It doesn’t seem to be working on my system. I’m really impressed with what Comcast has done, but it’s time for other companies to catch on.
