My wife experiences this from time to time and we find that the first
thing to try is to go to the app switcher and close any open apps.
Unlike a computer getting out of an app with the home button does not
close it, and neither does shutting down the phone. When you boot up the
phone again and go to the app switcher, you will find that the apps are
still open. You should always close an app in the app switcher when done
using it, or at least when you shut down the phone.

I am not entirely sure where the appropriate place to post this question
is, but voiceover on my Iphone is lagging, like when I swipe to the read
the next thing it will do it two or three times normally but then it
will lag the next time.  I swipe, and it clicks so i know it knew i was
swiping but it takes 3 or 4 seconds to start reading.  So bssically,
every few swipes it freezes for 4 seconds or so.  It does this in any
app I am in and on the home screen as well, so everywhere.  And i have
the lastest update of IOS.  So can someone give me some advice on how to
get rid of the lag?
