[Electronics-Talk] [EXTERNAL] Iphone

For my part, I find that the iPhone does a good job of handling apps you
aren't using, so I don't spend a lot of time closing apps when I'm
finished with them or going through the App Switcher and closing things
down. If you're in the App Switcher, and you see an app there, and it
doesn't say active when you flick to it with VoiceOver, then it really
isn't taking up any appreciable resources.
I usually leave quite a few apps open, like Swarm, Mail, Messages, Phone
and so on. This way I save a bit of time reopening an app and getting
back to where I was before, such as the Unread folder in the Mail app. I
figure the operating system and the kernel developers are better at
managing my iPhone's resources then I am, so I let them take care of it,
and I spend my time with other tasks.
I do occasionally clean things up and go into my App Switcher to shut
things down. I do this before doing an update or whenever I'm having
problems with my iPhone. This doesn't happen very often except with the
occasional IOS beta.
