One way of greatly improving the success in finding a barcode with 
Digit-Eyes s to have it tactily marked. This works if you already 
have someone assisting with grocery shopping or coming into the house 
on a regular basis to help with various vision-related activities. 
That person can place a small piece of clear tape right on the 
barcode. If the sighted assistance is not there then lots of practice 
locating barcodes in their most likely locations is the only way to 
successfully use Digit-Eyes.
