Hello,
Same here. I've not a clue what security issues there are with feature 
phones.
I'm assuming these phones are your standard cell phones with buttons that 
you can dial and text with.

My phone is a nice flip phone with rubber buttons but the downside is it 
only speaks incoming calls, not other features like your contacts and missed 
calls list.
Like Marsha, I don't have much private on my phone, nothing you cannot get 
from other sources like a phone book.

I say different strokes for different folks.

  I don't have a clue what security issues you are talking about in regard
to feature phones.  Perhaps mine isn't a feature phone.  There is nothing
private on my phone that anyone can't get out of a phone book.
