[Electronics-Talk] Accessible Micro Waves, the Battle is Lost

I do not know why manufacturers have made the decision to stop providing
braille overlays.  Whirlpool and Kitchen Aid have confirmed  to me that they
no longer provide braille overlays.  I did not ask LG, Maytag or Amana.

That's too bad GE no longer has braille overlays. why did they stop?
Does any appliance maker do this anymore? Whirlpool?

I remember when I first moved into this building in 1984, the appliances
were GE.  I had heard that GE made overlays for stoves and ovens.  So, I
called them, and found out that they no longer did that.  They just had
overlays for microwave ovens.  And now, I guess they don't have that.  Pam.

I can confirm that GE no longer provides braille overlays for microwaves.  I
did not inquire about other appliances, but I'm guessing they no longer
provide braille overlays for them either.
