[Electronics-Talk] Accessible Micro Waves, the Battle is Lost

Well, Pam, Tina kind of said what I was going to say. As you know, braille
readers are a dying breed. And let me be perfectly clear, I'm not putting
down those that choose not to learn braille. For most of those that are
losing their vision are in their 80's and some may have tactile issues. And
as you know, braille requires remembering 63 characters.
[Oops! My bad. There are less than 63 characters with the new braille.]

But I agree with Tina. If folks learned just enough braille to be able to
read labels perhaps manufacturers would offer them.

In my own opinion, I think a smooth flat surface must be more pleasing to
the eye. I don't know.
But I'm sure it's easier to clean than a surface that has high profile or
semi-high profile buttons. Even I would love to have a ceramic top stove.
No burners or dip trays to clean.

Vince
